We would advise that we were approached on 10 September 2009 by representatives of the owners of Craigton Woods. As you will probably be aware this area is designated as Green Belt Land.
The final consultation on the Council Local Plan will be due in a couple of weeks and the owners of Craigton Woods would like the designation of this area altered. As a result, the area would be changed to a mixture of housing and woodland.
The Residents’ Association have had an initial discussion with the representatives and would like to have your views on the matter. As there is only a short time to respond to this we would be happy to discuss the subject with you or a group of neighbours and show you what information the Association have at the present time.
