Practical Footpath Day
Mains Estate, Milngavie, Thursday 30th October, 2014

For various reasons we had to cancel the last footpath day in Milngavie and have rescheduled the path maintenance day to Thursday 30th October.

Ramblers Scotland have been working with Clober Primary School to design waymarkers for a path on Mains Estate in Milngavie.  We are organising a practical footpath maintenance day to install waymarkers and make further improvements to the path, providing a great opportunity for volunteers to learn some outdoor skills and gain practical experience in dealing with minor path problems.

We’ll have the children from Clober Primary with us for part of the afternoon and would  love to have you with us if you’re free.

We will be installing waymarkers, improving drainage and cutting back vegetation. No previous experience is required.  All tools and equipment will be provided but you should bring suitable clothing for outdoor work.
