Mains Estate Residents' Association (MERA) AGM

The MERA AGM will be held on Monday 24th October 2022 at 7:30pm at Douglas Academy.  

There will be an update on the Local Development Plan, a Question and Answer session with Hacking and Paterson and a Discussion together with the Head Teacher of Douglas Academy and the Community Warden.

Mains Estate Exhibition and Heritage Walks 

Did you know that March is East Dunbartonshire Local History Month?

This year the history and the heritage of the Mains Estate will be celebrated through an Exhibition and Heritage Walks

The Exhibition will be hosted by Milngavie Heritage Centre in Milngavie Library from Saturday 12^th March – Saturday 9^th April 2022 (excl. Sundays), during normal library opening hours.  No booking required.

The Heritage Walks will take place on Saturday 19^th March 2022 at 10am and 2pm.  Advanced booking is necessary due to limited numbers. Please call 0141 956 3541 to book.

 

The second edition of Nigel Orr’s book ‘Milngavie: The Village’ is also now available from admin@milngavieheritage.org
