Poachers' Knowle Pumping Stattion

Residents in the Douglas Muir Drive area who regularly use the Core Path Walk in the woodland may have noticed a smell in the area. A resident investigated this and noticed a discolouration in the local water course. This was reported to SEPA who came out to investigate and it appears that there has been a problem with the Poachers' Knowle pumping station belonging to Scottish Water. This has been reported to Scottish Water and they are dealing with the matter. Any residents who have a problem with their waste or smells should contact Scottish Water immediately. Meanwhile, MERA would recommend that residents do not allow children or dogs to enter the water in this area.
