A809 Stockiemuir Road, Bearsden - Temporary Traffic Management
A contractor is to cut back overhanging vegetation on the A809 Stockiemuir Road north of Stockiemuir Avenue, Bearsden. In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, Stop/Go boards will be used to control traffic movements on Stockiemuir Road at the works location, from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Monday 16 February 2015. The use of Stop/Go boards will result in delays to traffic on Stockiemuir Road
A809 Drymen Road, Bearsden - Temporary Traffic Management
British Telecom is to carry out repairs to a cable fault on the A809 Drymen Road near its junction with Beechwood Lane, Bearsden. In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, temporary three way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on Drymen Road at Beechwood Lane, Bearsden, from 9am until 3.30pm on Monday 16 February 2015. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled at all times. The use of temporary traffic signals will result in delays to traffic in the area.

UIS is to carry out a drainage pipeline survey on a section of the A809 Stockiemuir Road between its junctions with Courthill and the access road to Bearsden Academy and a point north of Drymen Road, Bearsden. In order for the works to be carried out in a safe manner, the existing traffic signals will require to be switched off and temporary four way traffic signals will be used to control traffic movements on Stockiemuir Road at its junctions with Courthill and the access road to Bearsden Academy, Bearsden. Thereafter, the permanent traffic signals will be switched back on and stop/go boards will be used to control traffic movement as the survey works proceed southwards on Stockiemuir Road towards the A809 Drymen Road, Bearsden. The works will be carried out between 9.10am and 3.30pm, on Thursday 19 February 2015. The temporary traffic signals will be manually controlled at all times. The use of temporary traffic signals will result in delays to traffic in the area.
