The Main Issues Report (MIR) is the first step in the production of a new Local Development Plan (LDP) for East Dunbartonshire.
This is now available on the Council website.
There will be a consultation on this which will run from 9th September to 4th November 2013, during which time there will be meetings at various locations throughout the area at which residents will have the chance to voice their views. For further details see

Forthcoming exhibitions
Two exhibitions will take place next week:
Milngavie Railway Station
An exhibition about the history of the Milngavie line from 1863 to 2013
Clubbable Milngavie
The history and activities of clubs and societies in the Milngavie area
Both exhibitions will run from Tuesday 10th to Saturday 14th September, from 10am to 4pm, and will be held at Milngavie Town Hall.
Admission is free.
